About The Wanted List
The Wanted List web site idea was inspired when our ice tea maker (that we had for 25 years) stopped working. They don’t even manufacture our tea maker brand any longer. Like most of us we went to all of the sites that listed items for sale. We checked the appropriate categories but had no luck in finding what we wanted.
We thought about posting a want ad in the local daily paper but they almost don’t even post want ads any longer. So our last effort was to send out a text to all of our friends and family with a picture / description of the tea maker. Well one of our friends had received that same tea maker for a wedding gift some 20 years ago. She never even took it out of the box. We paid her $10 and we have our tea maker again.
So our thought turned to a web site where people could post what they want to buy. Basically an on line wanted ad machine that worked just as the old fashion want ads did in the daily paper.
The Wanted List site was designed to connect buyers with sellers, not the other way around. You as the buyer can stop searching what’s for sale but instead post what you are looking for, allowing sellers to browse for random items people want to buy.
So – what do you have that someone may want? Have you checked your attic or garage? What about items you have not used or touched in years. Don’t go through the hassle of taking a picture, posting it for sale and hoping someone is interested at your asking price.
